Chapter Updates

On December 27, 2017 the Minnesota Commissioner of Health accepted the recommendation of the state's Advisory Committee on Heritable and Congenital Disorders to add SMA to Minnesota's newborn screening panel. With this decision, Minnesota becomes the second state to adopt permanent newborn screening for SMA. Thank you to all the advocates in Minnesota who have made this progress possible!
