The month of August marks not only SMA Awareness Month but the start of our fall event season. SMA Day with the Chicago Cubs, the Colorado Walk-n-Roll, and the Texas Bowl-a-Thon are just a few events that kicked off the season within the first weeks of August. Over the next few months our dedicated event volunteers, community and chapter leaders, and supporters will host more than 50 events across the country to support Cure SMA.
The funds raised through our grassroots fundraisers support researcher breakthroughs and help provide patients and families the information and resources they need to live active, engaged, and hopeful lives.
