Cole P Randall Memorial Golf Tournament Raises $75,000

The Inaugural Cole P Randall Memorial Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, September 27, at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Portland, OR. This fun event had a full flight of golfers, supporters, and friends enjoying a day of SMA awareness on the greens, followed by an incredible evening of cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a live and silent auction.

The emcee of the evening was the legendary voice of the Portland Trailblazers, Brian Wheeler. Special guests included Clyde “The Glide” Drexler, former Portland Trailblazer, along with renowned pediatric neurologist, Dr. Barry Russman.

The event raised over $75,000 to support our mission of a treatment and cure for SMA.

The event was hosted by The Cole Parker Randall Foundation, founded in loving memory of Cole Parker Randall. Cole passed away just one day shy of 11 weeks old from spinal muscular atrophy.

The foundation was established in 2014 by Cole’s parents, Dave and Shawna Randall, and their children Jase and Cade Randall, Cole’s older brothers. The foundation was created to honor of Cole’s life, the lessons he taught us, the lives he touched, and to support Cure SMA with proceeds benefitting SMA research.

Our thanks to the Randall family, the foundation, and all the sponsors, friends, and family who made this event possible.
