Registration is now open for the 2015 Annual SMA Conference.
The 2015 Annual SMA Conference will be held in Kansas City, MO, at the Westin Crown Center from Thursday, June 18, through Sunday, June 21, 2015.
Every year, Cure SMA sponsors a conference to bring together the leading SMA researchers, clinicians, and families living with SMA. Cure SMA has been hosting the Annual SMA Conference since 1989. We look forward to reuniting as a community at this year’s conference in order to lend each other support and strength and to learn about the latest advances in research and care.
As always, the Family and the Researcher Meetings run alongside each other. Through the conferences, we bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, and families to network, learn, and collaborate. The Annual SMA Conference is the largest conference in the world for those affected by SMA, and also for those involved in providing support and care for SMA patients.
The weekend is filled with a wide variety of workshops, keynote sessions with leading researchers, a family-friendly research poster session, and more—plus fun events like our dance party, meet-and-greet, a pajama party as well as teen and adult social activities. There are also many opportunities to connect and interact with other SMA families and to receive first hand updates from the researchers.
You must complete your conference registration with Cure SMA prior to reserving your room at the Westin Crown Center. The Annual SMA Conference has secured a special room rate of $135 per night, which is available to conference attendees from Sunday, June 13, through Wednesday, June 24! Upon completing your conference registration, you will be given a direct link to book your discounted hotel room through our room block.
