2016 Annual SMA Conference on Track to Break Attendance Records

Registration for the Annual SMA Conference is well on its way to a record-setting number. Over 700 families and researchers have registered for the conference thus far—the highest number to this point in over five years! We are excited to have so many new and familiar faces joining us in June.

If you have not already done so, now is the time to register and book your hotel. The conference and hotel will sell out well in advance. Don’t miss your chance to join us!

When you register for the conference, you will also receive information on how to book your hotel and how to obtain discounted Disney theme park tickets.

In just a few weeks, we’ll also be announcing the agenda for this year’s conference. The plans include many of our much-loved events like the meet & greet, relay race, family friendly poster session, and more—plus some new ideas and events that we’ve got in the works.

About the Annual SMA Conference

Every year, Cure SMA sponsors a conference to bring together the leading SMA researchers, clinicians, and families living with SMA. Cure SMA has been hosting the Annual SMA Conference since 1988. We look forward to reuniting as a community at this year’s conference in order to lend each other support and strength and to learn about the latest advances in research and care.

As always, the Family and the Researcher Conferences run alongside each other. Through the conferences, we bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, and families to network, learn, and collaborate. The Annual SMA Conference is the largest conference in the world for those affected by SMA, and also for those involved in providing support and care for SMA patients.
