Did you catch Cure SMA on Top Chef last week? Chef Takashi Yagihashi competed on behalf of Cure SMA for Bravo’s Top Chef Duels series. What a great opportunity to raise awareness of SMA, right on the heels of SMA Awareness Month!
Chef Takashi and his family have been involved with Cure SMA for several years now. His daughter, Emily, has been a volunteer at both the conference and our national office. Many of you have met her as a volunteer for the children’s program at our Annual SMA Conference.
Inspired by his daughter and her connection to our community, Chef Takashi chose us for this unique and exciting opportunity. He also won all three rounds of his duel and will be moving on to the finale. We’ll be sure to let you know when that will air.
