Cure SMA Announces Additional Conference Support for Newly Diagnosed Families

Thanks to the generous funding provided by the Erin Trainor Memorial Fund, Cure SMA is now offering additional support for newly diagnosed families to attend the conference. New for this year, the scholarship will now cover three hotel nights, in addition to registration fees for up to four family members, to help these families attend the 2017 Annual SMA Conference. This scholarship is offered to all newly diagnosed families who have contacted Cure SMA in the last 12 months.

This mission of the Erin Trainor Memorial Fund (ETMF) is to generate substantial funds in order to provide conference scholarships, allowing newly diagnosed families/individuals the opportunity to attend the Annual SMA Conference. Our goal is to allow as many newly diagnosed families as possible to attend and experience the benefits of this amazing conference.

The Newly Diagnosed Scholarship Program for the Annual SMA Conference is offered to any newly diagnosed family who has contacted Cure SMA within the last year. Through this program, up to four family member’s registration fees, as well as the hotel for June 29-July 1, are covered with hope that these families have the opportunity to attend the largest SMA conferene in the world, where they are able to gather the most up to date information and care of SMA, and also connect with other families from around the world.

Families must register through the Newly Diagnosed Conference Scholarship and make their own hotel reservation. The three night hotel cost will be moved to the Cure SMA account onsite during the 2017 Annual Conference.
