Cure SMA has released the schedule for the 2015 Annual SMA Conference, which will be held in Kansas City, June 18-21. This will be the 26th year that Cure SMA has hosted this conference.
The schedule includes the timeline of workshops and events, including the Meet & Greet and Family Fun Fest, the Family Friendly Poster Session & SMA Dance Party, and the PJ Party & Movie Night. In addition, the weekend will be filled with networking opportunities with other families, a memorable kids program, and opportunities to interact with SMA researchers.
An Event Unlike Any Other
The interaction with researchers is one of the many things that makes this conference unique for individuals and families affected by SMA. Alongside the family conference, we also host the largest SMA research meeting in the world, where researchers can share new data and form new partnerships to accelerate the pace of research.
And through events like the Family Friendly Poster Session, families can talk with the researchers directly, getting first-hand updates and information on the newest developments in SMA research.
We are looking forward to reuniting as a community at this conference and showing our support for others. We are expecting another great attendance of over 1,200 attendees, making this the largest conference in the world for SMA families as well as researchers.
