Cure SMA Launches New COVID-19 Support Package

Despite the new reality of quarantines, remote working, and social distancing, Cure SMA would like you to know that our work for the SMA community continues.  Cure SMA remains vigilant in monitoring and responding to the needs of the SMA community, as your health, safety, and well-being is our top priority.  We are launching a new program to help individuals and families affected by SMA during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 Support Package is a temporary program to assist members of the SMA community obtain essential items that may be difficult to locate, such as hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes.  We are also offering, fun items to help keep everyone entertained and engaged as people are asked to quarantine at home.  Some of the items in the COVID-19 Support Package include:

  • Antibacterial Wipes
  • Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer Gel
  • Travel Tissue Packs
  • Water Bottle
  • Hand Lotion
  • Deck of Cards
  • LCR Dice Game
  • Kids Activity Book
  • Crayons
  • Playfoam or Play-doh
  • Adult Puzzle Book
  • Adult Coloring Book
  • Colored Pencils

As we all continue to isolate at home for the foreseeable future, we hope the items included in the Support Package will bring you and your loved ones a bit of comfort during this difficult time.  We will provide the COVID-19 Support Package to any household within the United States who has an individual diagnosed with SMA on a first come, first serve request basis as supplies last.
