Today, Cure SMA is proud to launch our year-end campaign: This Gen, Next 10. It's a chance to look at where this community started, how far we've come, and what the next ten years should bring for those impacted by spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
Over the campaign, we'll revisit the days before treatment existed, when a diagnosis left families with almost nothing to hold onto. We'll take stock of today's real progress and real unmet needs, as more individuals with SMA grow into adulthood. And we'll look ahead to the next decade of research, policy change, and expanded care.
But none of it happens without you. Every treatment available today began with a gift from someone who believed in what could be. The next decade depends on that same belief.
