Cure SMA is thrilled to announce that we will, once again, be offering scholarship opportunities to adults with SMA (18 years of age and older) to attend the 2020 Annual SMA Conference. The conference will take place June 11-June 14, 2020, at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort in Orlando, FL.
Thanks to a generous grant funded by Genentech, Cure SMA will be providing scholarships to help cover some travel and hotel accommodations for adults with SMA to attend the Conference. This scholarship will provide travel assistance for an adult with SMA and their aide, as well as one (1) hotel room for up to three (3) nights in the Cure SMA room blocks at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. Hotel accommodations will be for one (1) adult (18 years of age and older) with SMA and one (1) attendant, providing one (1) room for both attendees to share. Please note, there are a limited number of hotel rooms and a limited number of scholarships available.
Also available again this year, The Dhont Family Foundation will be generously funding scholarships for adults (18 and over) with SMA who want to attend the 2020 Annual SMA Conference. These scholarships waive the registration for one adult, plus one aide to accompany them.
